Step 1 and Step 2
Just as you would shampoo your own hair before conditioning, it is essential to clean leather before applying a conditioner.
This simple two step process ensures the surface of the leather is free from grease and dirt. After using Step 1 Cleaner, leather should then be treated with a conditioner or soap to moisturize, protect and keep it supple.
Leather contains moisturing and lubricating oils that are gradually lost. Instead of flexing and stretching, the fibers become tight and stiff and will eventually weaken and brak, causing cracks.
If you would like to enjoy your leather items as long as possible, it is very important to take care of them.
Belvoir Step 1 Tack cleaner Spray is easy to use, there is no water required.
Step 1 gently lifts ingrained grease, sweat and dirt to enable you to wipe off dirt easily. The PH neutral formula will not rot stitching or over dry the leather.
How to use? Spray directly onto leather and wipe clean. For ingrained grease leave in contact for 5 minutes. If mould is present, make sure cloth is not re-used and it disposed of, away from leather items. you can also use this spray on synthetic leather.
Belvoir Step 2 Tack Conditioner Spray Softens, preserves and shines saddlery leather.
Made from the original recipe to condition, protect and add shine to leather. A pure, clear, quality conditioner formulated with glycerin and coconut oil, for regular use with minimum effort. The glycerine fills and seals pores in the leather to form a barrier again salt, dirt, grease and water. Step 2 should be used after Step 1.
How to use? Spray evenly onto clean leather and gently rub in with a cloth or sponge. When dry, polish using a soft dry cloth.
This is not suitable for aniline or untreated leather, suede or nubuck.
